HELEN WASHINGTON
Helen graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a BMus in Piano Performance. She then travelled the world playing on cruise ships performing many concerts as a soloist and with a variety of ensembles.
On her return, she was asked to play on the Andrew Lloyd Webber UK Tour of Whistle down the Wind and from that moment, she found her love for Musical Theatre and continued to do shows ever since!

TV AND FILM - Sky TV - ‘Hairspray’. Granada TV - ‘This Morning’. Piano tutor for Lily Collins on the film ‘Tolkien’ for Fox Spotlight. She was the pianist for Helena Bonham Carter in ‘Nolly’ for ITV.
Helen now tutors piano, plays on shows where possible, but loves teaching and working with the community choirs and always makes sure that there is an excellent live band to play for the big concerts. Helen is very grateful to all the local and West End musicians that come and play for the choir, creating a unique opportunity that any community choir would be proud of!
